As a Bowen therapist, I frequently address the pervasive issue of back pain among patients. I advocate for a simple yet often neglected remedy of elevating the feet. Despite its simplicity, this exercise yields profound relief.
Many of my clients enduring chronic back pain commonly spend hours behind a desk with prolonged periods in front of a screen, working gaming etc.
I endorse this innovative foot stool, that, much like Bowen therapy, offers gentle, non-intrusive relief. Its design of attaching to chairs seamlessly provides relief for chronic pain sufferers.

Office desks and chairs tend to be designed for the average, “standard” sized person. This means that those who are spending the bulk of their time at work in the sitting position, i.e., sedentary, may find their feet not quite sitting comfortably on the floor.
People who are shorter than “standard” size may find their feet not even touching the floor when they’re sitting. Free-swinging feet can increase pressure on thighs and lead to circulation problems that can manifest in swelling of the legs, varicose veins, blood clots, and even deep vein thrombosis. Adding a suitable footrest can be a simple fix for a lot of these issues.
Sedentary workers frequently complain of aches and pains afflicting different joints and muscle groups, including the back, neck, calves, and feet. People simply were never designed to sit still for prolonged periods at an office desk; instead, we’re designed to keep moving! A suitable footrest can encourage good posture while sitting, and thereby prevent muscle and joint aches and pains.
When the demands of a job involve prolonged sitting (i.e., for longer than two hours at a time), then comfort is essential. The best way to avoid sitting-related discomfort at a desk is to choose a workstation that encourages as much freedom of motion as possible. For this reason, standing desks have recently become popular, but they can be expensive. Those who cannot afford a standing desk may still find room in their budget for a footrest, to provide a much-needed break for legs and feet. Even for people who already use a standing desk, a footrest can provide additional relief for legs, feet and backs in standing.
A suitable footrest should be adequately sized to accommodate the size of the feet, non-slip, and its angle of inclination fully adjustable.

My feedback –
• Made you sit up in your seat – your back stayed fully at the back of the seat
• By sitting up straight, neck and shoulders felt less tense at the end off the day
• Being able to swivel allowed you not to use as required
Would recommend as an alternative option to a foot stool.
Happy to continue trialling if required 😊

Firstly, what a great idea !
The simplicity of the attachment to any chair is brilliant, I trialled this for a week and didn’t want to give it back.
In my role I spend most of the day at my desk, I often find myself correcting my posture as I slowly slump, slouch at my desk, this product made me push my butt back into my chair correcting my posture.
Highly recommended cant wait to purchase one.
